Το 1996 ο KISS 89.0 εκπέμπει για πρώτη φορά στη Λευκωσία και σύντομα γίνεται ο 1ος σταθμός ξένης μουσικής. Δεκαπέντε χρόνια μετά, το 2011 ο KISS γίνεται
παγκύπριος σταθμός με τις καλύτερες επιτυχίες από τα 80’s μέχρι σήμερα, στοχεύοντας σε ένα μεγαλύτερο ακροατήριο που αγαπά την ξένη μουσική, έχει μοντέρνες αντιλήψεις και
ζει στους ρυθμούς της πόλης. Το πρόγραμμά του σταθμού συμπληρώνεται με πληθώρα διαγωνισμών, ζωντανών συνεντεύξεων από το στούντιο και live links από όλη την Κύπρο. Ο KISS
89.0 είναι ο μόνος σταθμός που «τολμά» να προσφέρει «10 τραγούδια στη σειρά», χωρίς διακοπή για διαφημίσεις με στόχο την ευχαρίστηση των ακροατών.
